Ametist

 Ametist taşı, etki bakımından en güçlü taşlardan biridir. Kuvars grubu ailesine aittir ve kuvars taşının mor renkli olan türüdür. Lila renkten koyu mor renge kadar mor’un birçok değişik rengine sahiptir.

Mor rengini bünyesinde bulunan demir madeninden alır ve bir silisyum dioksit bileşimidir. Ayrıca Ametist taşının çok nadir yeşil rengi de bulunmaktadır. Bu taş Prasiolite olarak adlandırılır.
