On these minimal amethyst natural stone silver earrings the stone is taken into a small setting; there is no ornament, only the purple itself. It was shaped without a mold; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar the hand of a master with more than thirty years at the bench touched it. Because the tone of natural amethyst opens differently in every stone, the two earrings never look the same.
Amethyst is traditionally associated with clarity of mind and inner calm. In our culture it is also known as purple rock crystal.
