Turquoise is seated in a plain setting on a 925 sterling silver ring; the vein inside the sky blue runs from a different place in every stone. It was worked mold-free; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar it was finished one at a time in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. It is prepared in ring sizes 8, 9 and 10 (Turkish sizing).
In Anatolia turquoise is traditionally counted as a protective stone; it is the color of the evil-eye charm. It is carried with an intention of being kept from ill words.
Keep away from water and perfume; wipe with a soft cloth.
