On these pearl and strawberry quartz natural stone earrings the white of the nacre stands beside a pink stone that carries red specks inside it. It was worked mold-free; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar it was finished one at a time in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the scatter of the specks differs in every stone, the two earrings are not alike.
Pearl is traditionally associated with tenderness and calm. Strawberry quartz, in turn, takes its name from these red grains inside it; it is carried with an intention of love.
