This larimar minimal silver necklace was worked by taking the pale blue stone into a plain 925 sterling silver bezel. Nothing was cast in a mold — it took shape at a workshop in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the white waves of larimar pass differently in every stone, the pattern never repeats.
Larimar comes only from a single hillside in the Dominican Republic in all the world; its color is likened to the Caribbean Sea. It is traditionally carried with an intention of calm.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.
