A ruby is seated in a small setting on a pair of minimal 925 sterling silver earrings; in this plain construction the red speaks alone. It was worked mold-free; it passed through the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench, at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar.
Ruby is traditionally linked with courage and leadership. In India it was named the lord of stones; it is carried with an intention of vital force.
