This onyx bracelet was prepared with a white zircon set among the black beads; a single glint on a dark ground. One at a time, mold-free - it came from a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, from the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the place of the zircon is judged by hand, it falls on a slightly different point in every bracelet.
Onyx is among the dark stones counted as protective; in Anatolia it was the stone of signet rings. Zircon is spoken of for its clarity, and here the two set two separate intentions side by side.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.

- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
