This green amethyst bracelet was made by lining up pale green beads in a single simple row. At a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, a master with more than thirty years at the bench strung it bead by bead, with no casting mold. Because the lightness of the green shifts from bead to bead, the row reads as a soft gradation.
Green amethyst is amethyst turned green, and it is also known as prasiolite. It is traditionally carried with an intention of refreshment and inner calm.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.
