This moonstone bracelet for women was strung with the bluish shimmer that runs through its beads; as it turns to the light, a sheen like the moon rises on the surface. It was made mold-free, threaded bead by bead at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the sheen appears at a different angle in every bead, the row changes with movement.
Moonstone takes its name from this light, which recalls the glow of the moon; it is spoken of together with the lunar cycle. It is traditionally carried with an intention of intuition and inner peace.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.
