The twisted model gold-plated hoop earrings took their form as the wire was turned on its own axis; the twist line breaks the light along its length. No casting mold was used — the wire was drawn one at a time at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the tightness of the twist is set by hand, the two earrings of the pair never come out alike.
The hoop is counted a sign of continuity in Anatolia because it is a line with no visible end; it is traditionally carried with the intention of attachment. The twist motif carries the trace of old wire work and is counted a sign of abundance.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.

If you have a ring
- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
- Send us the measurement — we will match it to the closest Hashimi size for you.

- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the finger you'll wear the ring on, passing over the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
- Send us this measurement and we'll find the right size together.
