A raw ruby is held uncut by prongs on a 925 sterling silver ring; the natural fracture of the stone shows between the silver prongs. There was no mold and no cutting; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar a master with more than thirty years at the bench held the raw stone in the prongs by hand. Ring sizes 8, 9 and 10 (Turkish sizing) are available.
Ruby is traditionally counted the stone of passion and courage. In old Indian texts it appears as ratnaraj, that is, the king of stones; its strength was believed to come from the fire it carries within.

- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).

- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the finger you'll wear the ring on, passing over the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
- Send us this measurement and we'll find the right size together.
