The emerald natural stone silver pendant was prepared with a bare setting that leaves the stone at the center. No casting mold was used — the piece was worked one at a time at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the tone of the green shifts from stone to stone, this color exists only here.
Emerald is traditionally associated with renewal and inner peace. In ancient Rome green was the color of beauty; today it is still carried with the intention of loyalty.
