In the iolite natural stone minimal silver necklace the stone hangs alone from a fine chain; the blue shifts from angle to angle until it almost recalls purple. It was worked mold-free; at a bench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar it was made in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. The tone of natural iolite opens differently in every stone.
Iolite is the stone the Vikings are said to have used to find their way at sea. It is traditionally carried with the intention of a clear view and an inner sense of direction.
