Ruby was fastened to this necklace between silver prongs; when the prongs leave the underside of the stone open, the red fills with light. No casting mold was used; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar the piece was built stone by stone in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench.
Ruby is traditionally associated with the joy of life and passion. In India it is known as the lord of stones; it is carried with the intention of keeping its warmth close.

- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
