Smoky quartz is taken into a pronged 925 sterling silver necklace setting; because the underside of the stone is left open, its smoke color opens up with the light. It was worked mold-free; it took its shape at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench.
Smoky quartz is traditionally carried for quiet and for gathering oneself. It is the member of the quartz family that carries the color of smoke.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.
