A pearl and a rose quartz are seated one above the other on a pair of 925 sterling silver earrings; the white of the nacre builds a soft passage into the milky tone of the pink. The pair was worked mold-free; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, a master with more than thirty years at the bench kept the two matched to each other.
Pearl is traditionally associated with tenderness and stillness. Rose quartz, in turn, is counted as the stone of love; in this pair the two meet in the same intention.
