A citrine is taken alone into its setting on a pair of 925 sterling silver earrings; the honey-colored yellow opens like daylight against the white of the silver. No casting mold was used — the stone was worked one at a time at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench.
Citrine is traditionally associated with abundance and cheer; it is also known as the merchant's stone. It is carried with an intention of keeping earnings plentiful.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.
