A garnet was taken alone onto a minimal silver ring; the deep red sits like a single point on the slender band. There is no mold here; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar a master with more than thirty years at the bench seated the stone in its setting by hand. It is prepared in ring sizes 8, 9 and 10 (Turkish sizing).
Garnet is traditionally associated with loyalty and resolve; in Rome it was used as a seal stone. Its name comes from the Latin for the pomegranate seed; it is carried with an intention of keeping one's word.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.

- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).

- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the finger you'll wear the ring on, passing over the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
- Send us this measurement and we'll find the right size together.
