Iolite and ruby sit side by side on a custom-design ring; violet blue and red on a single band. No casting mold was used; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar it was built stone by stone in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. It is prepared in ring sizes 8, 9 and 10 (Turkish sizing).
Iolite is traditionally associated with insight and finding direction; it is known as the compass stone of Viking sailors. Ruby, in turn, is the stone of courage; in India it was counted the lord of stones.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.

If you don't know your ring size, you can measure it in two minutes:
If you have a ring
- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
- Send us the measurement — we will match it to the closest Hashimi size for you.
If you don't have a ring
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the finger you'll wear the ring on, passing over the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
- Send us this measurement and we'll find the right size together.
