The emerald natural stone silver necklace was prepared with a plain setting that pushes the green of the stone forward. No casting mold was used — the piece was worked one at a time at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the green of every natural emerald opens in its own tone, the color of this necklace exists only here.
Emerald is traditionally associated with renewal and loyalty. Since the mines of Cleopatra it has been counted as the stone of spring green; it is carried with the intention of inner continuity.
