Beril Taşı Nedir?
<span century="" gothic",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt;"="">Beril Taşı<span century="" gothic",="" sans-serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt;"="">, Beril grubu ailesinden değişik renklerde bulunabilen bir değerli mineraldir. İçerisinde berilyum ve alüminyum mineralleri içerir. Gösterdiği renge göre değişik isimler alan bir mineraldir. Saydam açık mavi renkli olanı akuamarin‘dir. Pembe beril morganit, altın sarısı olan ise helioder olarak anılır. Ayrıca koyu yeşil, yeşil kırmızı, renklerde de bulunabilmektedir. Krom içeren yeşil renkli olanı ise zümrüt’tür.

<span century="" gothic",="" sans-serif;="" vertical-align:="" super;="" font-size:="" 12pt;"="">1900’lü yıllarda mücevher taşı olarak yaygın olarak kullanılmıştır. Ancak daha sonra daha önemli kullanım alanları keşfedilmiş ve o alanlarda kullanımı artmıştır.Beril uçak sanayinde, beril tuzları florasan lambalarda X ışını tüplerinde ve süs taşı olarak kullanılır.
<span century="" gothic",="" sans-serif;="" vertical-align:="" super;="" font-size:="" 12pt;"="">Madenlerden çıkarılan beril miktarı yıldan yıla artış göstermiştir. Brezilya başta olmak üzere, Zimbabve, Güney Afrika, Güney Batı Afrika (Namibia) ve ABD beril üreten başlıca ülkelerdir. Türkiye’de İşercekaya Mevkii Söğütçük Köyü (Simav-Kütahya) ve Kozluca Köyü (Gördes-Manisa) yörelerinde pegmatitler içinde berile rastlanmıştır.
