In the Dora series heart model hammered silver earrings, the heart line was bent by hand and the surface beaten with a hammer. No casting mold was used — the piece was worked one at a time at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the hammer mark changes with every blow, the two earrings of the pair never come out exactly alike.
The heart is among the oldest signs of love and attachment in Anatolian jewelry; it is traditionally carried with the intention of closeness. Silver is associated with plainness and stillness.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.

- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
