On these garnet and ruby natural stone silver earrings two reds stand side by side; one is dark and matte, the other bright. A master with more than thirty years at the bench worked it mold-free, one at a time, at his workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar. Because the tone of the stones is natural, the pair comes in a red of its own.
Garnet is traditionally associated with devotion; in Rome it was used as a seal stone. Ruby, in turn, is carried with an intention of courage and in India was called the lord of stones.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.
