In a minimal prong setting the amethyst hangs alone at the end of a slender 925 sterling silver necklace chain, with no detail added. It was shaped by hand, never entering a mold, at the workbench of a master with more than thirty years at the bench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar.
Amethyst is traditionally carried with the intention of calm and clear decisions. Its name comes from ancient Greek and is associated with keeping to measure.
