Amethyst is taken into a four-prong 925 sterling silver necklace setting, the prongs holding the stone at its corners and the rest left open. It was worked mold-free, taking its shape at a bench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench.
In ancient Greece amethyst was counted the stone of a clear mind. It is traditionally carried with the intention of moderation and inner peace.
