A drop-form ruby was seated into a setting that points upward on a minimal women's ring; the red deepens at the tip of the drop. It never entered a mold; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar it took shape in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Ring sizes 8, 9 and 10 (Turkish sizing) are available.
Ruby is traditionally associated with courage and life force; in India it was called the lord of stones. It is carried with the intention of keeping the heart steady.

If you have a ring
- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
- Send us the measurement — we will match it to the closest Hashimi size for you.
If you don't have a ring
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the finger you'll wear the ring on, passing over the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
- Send us this measurement and we'll find the right size together.
