Rutilated quartz was seated between silver prongs on this necklace; the prongs hold the stone while leaving its golden lines in plain view. Nothing was cast in a mold; the piece was worked one by one at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench.
Rutilated quartz is traditionally associated with clear thinking. It is also known as Venus's hair; it is carried to keep an intention in mind.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.

- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
