Tourmaline is seated on the thin band of a matte-surfaced minimal ring; the silver was not polished, and the stone speaks with its own color. No casting mold was used - at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar it was worked one at a time in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. It is prepared in ring sizes 8, 9 and 10 (Turkish sizing).
Tourmaline is traditionally associated with balance and protection. For centuries in Sri Lanka it was carried by travelers on the road; it is worn with an intention of gathering oneself.

If you have a ring
- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
- Send us the measurement — we will match it to the closest Hashimi size for you.
If you don't have a ring
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the finger you'll wear the ring on, passing over the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
- Send us this measurement and we'll find the right size together.
