Amethyst sits together with a 925 sterling silver necklace inscribed “La tahzan, innallaha ma'ana”, the purple stone standing right beside the writing. No casting mold was used; it was worked one piece at a time at a bench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench.
Amethyst is traditionally carried with the intention of inner peace and calm. The words beside it repeat that same intention in another language.
