The Hand of Fatima necklace was made by hanging a palm-shaped motif on a fine chain. No casting mold was used — it was worked one at a time at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the lines inside the palm are engraved by hand, every necklace has a line of its own.
The Hand of Fatima is among the most widespread protective symbols, reaching from Anatolia to North Africa. It is worn with an intention of protection from the evil eye and of abundance.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.

Returns and exchanges
If you don't know your ring size, you can measure it in two minutes:
If you have a ring
- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
- Send us the measurement — we will match it to the closest Hashimi size for you.
If you don't have a ring
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the finger you'll wear the ring on, passing over the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
- Send us this measurement and we'll find the right size together.
Not sure? Write to us on WhatsApp — we'll sort it out in minutes. If the size arrives wrong, we exchange it free of charge within 14 days.
