Oval-cut silver prayer beads (tesbih), large size; the full oval beads were drawn one by one from 925 sterling silver. The beads were drawn without a mold; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar a master with more than thirty years at the bench rolled each one by hand. Because the length of the beads is judged by hand, the weight of the strand is its own.
Large oval beads run slowly and heavily in the palm. Prayer beads are traditionally counted the companion of remembrance; silver is associated with the moon.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.

If you have a ring
- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
- Send us the measurement — we will match it to the closest Hashimi size for you.

- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the finger you'll wear the ring on, passing over the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
