The gold-plated detachable silver hoop earrings can be worn on their own or joined, thanks to their two-part construction. A master with more than thirty years at the bench worked them one at a time, mold-free, at his workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar. Because the line is trued by hand after plating, the two earrings of the pair are not alike.
The hoop is counted a sign of continuity in Anatolia; it is traditionally carried with the intention of attachment. A gold-plated surface shows the line of the silver in a warmer tone.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.

- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
