This smoky quartz bracelet for women was strung in the misty brown of the stone; it looks as though a wisp of smoke were held inside. Nothing was cast in a mold - it was threaded bead by bead in a workshop in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. Because the depth of the smoke is its own in every bead, the row reads as a gradient.
Smoky quartz is traditionally spoken of with a sense of grounding and calm. It is carried with an intention of gathering the mind and returning to the moment.

- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
