Ruby was taken into a small setting on a minimal women's ring; a fine band, a single red stone. It was shaped without a mold; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar it passed through the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench. It is offered in ring sizes 8, 9 and 10 (Turkish sizing).
Ruby is traditionally connected with protection and courage; in medieval Europe it was believed to carry a fire inside it that never goes out. In India it is the lord of stones.

If you have a ring
- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
- Send us the measurement — we will match it to the closest Hashimi size for you.
If you don't have a ring
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the finger you'll wear the ring on, passing over the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets and measure the strip flat — this is your finger circumference (mm).
- Send us this measurement and we'll find the right size together.
