Lozenge-cut rutilated quartz stands with its angular face on this handcrafted silver necklace; the cut scatters the needles inside the stone toward its four corners. Nothing was cast in a mold; the piece was worked one by one at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, in the hands of a master with more than thirty years at the bench.
Rutilated quartz is traditionally associated with a sense of inner direction. The needles running through the quartz have earned it the name Venus's hair; it is carried with the intention of clarity.
Keep away from water, perfume and creams; wipe with a soft cloth.
