Ruby stands alone on a 925 sterling silver necklace worked at a woman's measure; the lines are fine and the stone is brought forward. Nothing was cast in a mold; it was shaped at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar by the hand of a master with more than thirty years at the bench.
Ruby is traditionally associated with strength and perseverance. In India it is counted the lord of stones; it is carried with the intention of courage when setting out.
