The Dora series hammered ball silver earrings were shaped by beating the surface with a hammer; the light breaks apart in every dimple. Nothing was cast in a mold; the form came from the hammer of a master with more than thirty years at the bench, at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar. Because the hammer marks come from the hand, the two earrings of the pair are not exactly alike.
Silver has been counted the metal of the moon in Anatolia for centuries and is traditionally associated with plainness. Among the people, giving silver jewelry to a newborn is an old custom.

- Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably, in millimetres (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
