Natural stone necklace designs
When choosing a natural stone necklace, look first at the size of the stone, then at the chain. A small ruby or moonstone on a fine chain is noticeable even at a shirt collar, while a strand necklace of large stones is enough on its own over a simple dress. Most of the necklaces are 925 sterling silver. Every stone comes with its own tone and veining, and because we shape the silver by hand to suit it, no two necklaces with the same name are identical.
On this page you will find single-stone pendants made with stones such as ruby, emerald, amethyst, blue topaz and moonstone. In a few designs, stones of different colours sit side by side on the same strand. The Yemeni agate necklaces inscribed with Surah Al-Inshirah and Arabic script are here too; you can see them all together on the Yemeni Agate page. There is also a pendant that can be personalised with a name. If you would like matching earrings in the same stone, have a look at our sets.
Apply perfume and cream before putting the necklace on, and take it off in the shower and in the sea. When you are not wearing it, keeping it in an airtight box slows down the tarnishing of the silver.
