Amethyst is seated on a prong-set 925 sterling silver men's ring; the crown teeth around the stone lift the purple upward. The crown was drawn without a mold; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar a master with more than thirty years at the bench set every prong by hand. It is offered in ring sizes 10, 11 and 12 (Turkish sizing).
Amethyst is traditionally associated with inner peace and staying measured; in Ancient Greece its name meant to stay sober. It is carried by those who want to say their word calmly.
