Rubies were lined up one after another around a 925 sterling silver band ring; the red reads from every side of the band. It was worked mold-free; at a workbench in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar a master with more than thirty years at the bench seated the stones around the band one by one. It is offered in ring sizes 8, 9 and 10 (Turkish sizing).
Ruby is traditionally associated with courage; in India it was counted the lord of stones. In Burma warriors are said to have carried ruby close to the skin; it is worn with the intention of being without fear.
Keep away from perfume, creams and water; wipe with a soft cloth.
